Listen to some of our music...

Alas, The Trinkets (or Trinket as we were also known) have not played together since 2004. It is not the ever popular “creative differences” that keep us apart, but the much less interesting “scheduling differences”. Unfortunately we all have to pay rent, feed ourselves and our children, buy cute clothes, etc. and our work schedules have made it difficult, if not impossible to play together. (By the way, if anyone out there would like to financially sponsor us, please contact us immediately.)

If you never got a chance to hear the Trinkets, we were described as a mix of Patti Smith, the B-52’s and Saturday morning cartoons. We all sing and all write the songs too. We’ve played many fine venues in LA, including Largo, Luna Park, Spaceland and the legendary Whiskey.

We can be heard on the Sympathy for the Record Industry compilations, HOW MANY BANDS DOES IT TAKE TO SCREW UP A BLONDIE TRIBUTE? and ALRIGHT, THIS TIME JUST THE GIRLS (along with THE MUFFS and HOLE). We can also be heard on Teenacide Records PAJAMA PARTY, and the Poptopia ‘97 disc POP THAT. So far our music has only been released on compilations, perhaps because we’ve never gotten our act together to make a full length recording (again it’s that scheduling thing!)

The Trinkets are:
Curt Anderson- vocals, drums
Laura Hall-vocals, keyboards, guitar, concertina
Heather Stanfield- vocals, bass
Amy Tung- vocals, guitar
