I Love To Take A Bath
Words and music by Laura Hall © 1999

Oh how I love to take a bath
Oh how I love to splish and splash
Oh how I love to rub dub in the tub
Oh how I love to take a bath
First I give my hair a good shampoo
Then I close my eyes and wash my face too
I scrub up my arms right up to my neck
I even wash behind my ears cause I know my mom will check
Ah, what the heck
Oh how I love to take a bath
Oh how I love to splish and splash
Oh how I love to rub dub in the tub
Oh how I love to take a bath
I lather up my tummy like I know I should
Try to scrub my back but I can’t reach it too good
I wash my legs and feet, it’s so much fun
I’ve scrubbed just about everything except my tongue
Blech!
Oh how I love to take a bath
Oh how I love to splish and splash
Oh how I love to rub dub in the tub
Oh how I love to take a bath
I make my rubber ducky swim around and back
I squeeze his tummy and he says “quack quack”
I kick and splash till I hear my daddy shout
“Keep the water in the tub or I’m gonna take you out”
What’s he so mad about?
Oh how I love to take a bath
Oh how I love to splish and splash
Oh how I love to rub dub in the tub
Oh how I love to take a bath
I dry myself all over with my towel
Put my jammies on all by myself somehow
I snuggle up in bed, I give mom a goodnight kiss
We read a bedtime story, it goes like this
Once upon a time there was a little girl and she said
Oh how I love to take a bath
Oh how I love to splish and splash
Oh how I love to rub dub in the tub
Oh how I love to take a bath
Oh how I love to rub dub in the tub
Oh how I love to take a bath
