This is a variation of a song we used to improvise on in the van when I toured with The Second City. My friends, Ron West and Joe Liss wrote the music, I provided the kid appropriate lyrics. Ron plays guitar on it and does the part of the boy who insists he’s not tired.

I know your toy is lost, but listen I’m the boss
